STEWARDSHP THOUGHT - Matt. 4:20 “Immediately they left their nets and followed him.” Discipleship cost Peter and Andrew everything they had. They left their trade, their hometown and their families, and they followed Jesus. God has called us to the same discipleship and the same devotion, though the exact details of how that is lived out will vary. The important thing is that we know that all we have is the Lord’s to be used for His purpose, and we are His disciples, ready to follow where He leads.
The Ham Dinner Committee will be meeting on Mon. Jan 27th at 6pm in the church basement. Anyone interested in volunteering to help out is encouraged to attend.
We will be accepting donations during the month of February for the Abiding Care Pregnancy Resource Center. Abiding Care is a local ministry outreach dedicated to the value and dignity of human life. There is an information sheet on the table in the Narthex with their Abiding Care Blessing needs. Please consider donating to this worthy cause.
